Suzanne Pleshette

SuzanneSuzanne Pleshette was an American actress, voice, film and television star, born January 31, 1937, and died on January 19, 2008. 1. Pleshette started her professional career in the theater and then began to appear in films towards the end of the 1950s. Later, she was featured in films of note such as Rome Adventure (1962), Alfred Hitchcock's The Birds (1963), and Spirited Away (2001). From 1972 until 1978 Pleshette was a regular guest in various TV productions. She also appeared in Emily Hartley, which earned numerous Emmy Award nominations. Pleshette was the daughter of Geraldine (nee Kaplan), and Eugene Pleshette. She was born in Brooklyn Heights, New York City on the 31st of January, 1937. Her parents were Jewish and were the descendants of emigrants from Russia and Austria-Hungary.Her mother was a dancer and artist who performed under the stage name Geraldine Rivers. Her father was the stage manager in both the Paramount Theater as well as the Paramount Theater in Manhattan.
